Banner/Hulk in Capt. America: Civil War

hulk-civil-war-134609Marvel Studios are so secretive that Mark Ruffalo (Banner/Hulk) was surprised to hear comments from Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark/Ironman) that Ruffalo is in Captain America: Civil War.

As far as everyone else knows Mark Ruffalo was left out of the official synopsis and the cast list. Ruffalo claims in a statement to HitFix that he had no idea he was he was in Civil War until Robert made that claim.

“If Robert Downey, Jr. says I’m in Captain America, I’m in Captain America dammit! And I will wait for the day that my call sheet shows up at my doorstep or my script. At this point, I’m told that I’m in it by Robert, which I’ll take as biblical, but I just haven’t heard or seen from production yet.”


We all remember that Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) doesn’t even know if he is in the movie or not. That leaves us fans wondering about the future of Nick Fury as Samuel L. Jackson film deal with Marvel Studio comes to a close. Samuel L. Jackson has reportedly already said he would love to re-up.

If these comments by Robert Downey Jr is to be be-leaved then Mark Ruffalo will Star along side already confirmed cast Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Don Cheadle, William Hurt, and Paul Rudd.
