Anyone who knows me will tell you that I will cry during a movie, And did I cry? YES! The whole 3/4 of the movie had me in tears.
Inside Out, Directed by Pete Docter and Ronaldo Del Carmen. Pete is one of my favorite Directers for animated films. Pete Docter wrote Toy Story in 95′, Monsters, Inc. 01′, WALL·E 08′ & Up 09′. This guy can write a story. Now from what I’ve learn about this project. Pete wrote this about his own daughter. He said as shes getting a little older shes a little more distant then normal.
Now lets get in the meat of it. Riley voiced Kaitlyn Dias was very warming and hit my heart, She doesn’t have all of work behind her but I see a bright future. The star of the movie is clearly Amy Poehler who voices Joy and Phyllis Smith who voices Sadness. Wow. These two really played off each other and really felt like Co worker who find a better appreciation for each other. Don’t worry no spoilers. This movie really was well written and know exactly what it is and delivers the whole way.
All right Inside out great movie well balanced and very sweet film. I fell in love with all the characters, a couple did feel like a toy grab. Really the only complaint I had about with film was that I will I had got to spend more time with Riley, While I really enjoyed Amy joy and sadness roles in the film I really would have liked to see more about Riley. If you have young girls they will be able to relate to Riley. So if your looking for a sweet and fun time at the movies then Inside Out is for you. I gave it a 9 out of 10 and I think its going in my top 10 Favorite animated films of all time. I’ll post that as well at some point.
