Sony/Marvel Finally announce Spider-Man casting!

tom-holland-spider-man-139823Greetings and salutations Once again Audience,

Tom Holland has been casted in the next Spider-Man, and will play Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the next big budget motion picture, just like his predecessors Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire. Maguire starred in the first three Spider-Man movies, while Garfield starred in the most recent two Amazing Spider-Man movies.

Holland is a 19 year old English actor, who was born UK. He is best known for playing the lead role in Billy Elliot the Musical and for starring in the movie The Impossible.

Sony Executive Amy Pascal told Marvel.com

“Sony, Marvel, Kevin and I all knew that for Peter Parker, we had to find a vibrant, talented young actor capable of embodying one of the most well-known characters in the world,”

And  “With Tom, we’ve found the perfect actor to bring Spider-Man’s story into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

Earlyer this year Marvel and Sony Pictures reached an agreement to work together on the cinematic future of Spider-Man. As part of the deal, the new Spider-Man is expected to debut in Captain America: Civil War, before starring in a Sony and Jon Watts solo Spider-Man movie to be sloted for July 28, 2017.

When the rumers of casting started flying Asa Butterfield of Ender’s Game was my front runner but when he was weeded out Holland was my 2nd pick. Personal I thing he’s been casted for a month or more. Captain America: Civil War has already been filming for two months, I refuse to beleave that they would have the actor locked in before filming.
