Star Wars: The Force Awakens Review – No Spoilers

Greetings and Salutations Once Again Audience,

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Review with No Spoilers. I wanted to wait a while before I reviewed this movie not because  I didn’t like it but because I didn’t want to effect in any little way the results from the box office. I have had some debates with bother online fans and friends. They beleaved the movie would do over a billion in its opening weekend. After I was done laughing I had to bring them back to earth, And keep in mind I am a HUGE Star Wars fanboy. I explained throw this movie would break all kinds of records but no movie ever has EVER broke $100 million in December. I called it at about $220 million opening weekend. Last time I checked it ended up earning a little more than that at $247,966,675. The real question is will it beat Avatar’s Domestic Total Gross of $749,766,139. I beleave it will since as of Jan 4th the $740,265,583.

Ok lets talk review. Like most real hard cure fan boys I was very excited for this new Star Wars movie. It was visually identical to the original trilogy, meaning that it felt like a real sequel. I’m not a prequel hater but they didn’t feel like they where in the real Star Wars universe. I honestly felt like they where a good movies IF you called them something else. J.J. Abrams did a fantastic job with movie. So much I want to talk about.

Let me start with the actors, Daisy Ridley is basically a unknown. She is really remarkable. I instantly fall in love with her in the story. She didn’t feel out of place, unlike Hayden Christensen in the prequels. Daisy Ridley’s character Rey was strong and yet vulnerable. She felt like a real person and someone you quickly love. The biggest surprise was John Boyega’s Finn and Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron. It’s set up in the trailers like Poe was going to be a write off character but when he wasn’t on screen I found I wanted more, and Finn was set up like the leading man in the trailers. I may be alone in this but honestly I do want to see more from him but he fell a little flat to me. This is not a spoiler and just my option but I would really love to see Poe become the new Han solo of this new story.

The villains in the Force Awakens were a little dry but that’s OK for this movie. I be leave we got just what we needed from them to better high light the the good guys. I hope to see more from the Knights of Ren moving forward in VIII. While we got what we needed I wish I had a little more from them than what we got.

The new alien designs were so good, and some droids we have never seen before. They had a alot to see and you’ll have to watch it 3 or 4 times to make sure you didn’t miss anything which I bet you did.

The Strom Troopers were much better in this film then any of the other and thats hardly a spoiler considering the fire fight we see in the trailer. I say that they open doors to a side of them we haven’t seen before in the movies.

Again the alien designs I have to say was fantastic. I was so wrapped up in the story and the ambiance of every scene, but no movie is prefect so here is what I didn’t like. I felt that the movie focus on the wrong people in places, and certain characters didn’t get the screen time they should have. I couple characters could have been removed and high light some of the main Character as an example with out giving and spoilers, In scene a storm trooper tries to fight Finn but if it was some one else and you’ll know what I mean when you see the film it was have gave that Character more screen time and made them cooler in the movie.

Over all I really enjoyed this film and felt it truly felt like it was a true sequel. From a little bad acting from a familiar face to very interesting villains. I would give Star Wars: The Force Awakens a very high 8.5 out of 10. As always give me your thoughts in the comments below and then share this with your friends and become part of the conversation. Also here is some extra flavor…
