Greetings and Salutations Once Again Audience,
Now I don’t always say “OMG” but when I do, I do for DEADPOOL! I have only gave 10 out of 10 4 times in my life. Well guys…. You are about to witness number 5.
I went to AMC 24 in Phoenix AZ at 7:00pm the very first showing and was not sure what to expect. I wanted it to be great but I know that when your exceptions are high you run the risk of being disappointed, but early review coming out was really good so I put my exceptions to the side and went in just to enjoy a good time.
It’s been said a million times already but its true Ryan Reynolds was born to play DEADPOOL. The movie from the opening credits to the post credit scene the whole theater was exploding with laughter. This was the funnest comedy I’ve seen in years. There was so much that I loved about this movie. This maybe the toughest spoiler free review I ever down because there was so much to see and that I want to talk about.
Lets start with the cinematography was so perfect in this movie. I know I don’t talk much about this very import job but when you don’t notice it, is when they got it right and I was so sucked in and felt like this was a real story with real people. That’s thanks to Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza and the way they write this love story. The main love store of Wade Wilson played by Ryan Reynolds and Morena Baccarin was perfect and I believed it. It felt like Andrew Garfield & Emma Stone. It felt real, It felt believable. The way this story was paced was dead on. I never found my self wanting a scene to end. The jokes hit. The casting also was so flawless. Karan Soni had such a small role but play off Ryan so well. Ed Skrein and Morena Baccarin that I have not like in past roles. Morena was so sexy and lovable that I wanted her on scene more. She really seemed to feel at home in this movie. Ed Skrein has never done anything that I liked. Ed is just one of those actors that just doesn’t seat with me, but he was so mean and oddly fresh in this film. I wanted to hate him but he made me laugh so hard I wanted to cry.
This is when I would go into what I didn’t really like about the film but really I don’t have much. I wish in the post credit scene we had got something really cool but its a little bit throw away but they do it in a way were it was also really funny. Also point for point felt very similar to the first Spider-man Movie in the origin sequences.
Over all want a great time at the movies. Norally I don’t let my kids watch Rated R movies but for DEADPOOL I made an exception. My kids 10, 11 & 12 loved it also. I give this cinematic adventure a 10 out of 10 for the great time and laugh we had and the pure enjoyment I had. I wanted to see it again right after it was over. As always give me your thoughts in the comments below, Do you agree with my score? What did you think about the movie? Also share this with your friends and become part of the conversation.
